Two Villains Brewing was a notion long before it came to fruition. Service industry buddies Jon and Sean began home brewing together in 2013, taking home multiple awards from competitions in the tri-state area before starting their professional careers at Brix City Brewing in 2015. The duo learned to brew on a commercial level over the course of four years, leaving Brix City to embark upon their dreams of opening their own place in 2019, when they met partners Travis, Brian, Mike and Mike. Together, the team built the brewpub, with a focus on hop forward ales and sessionable saisons. The food is inspired by elevated pub fare with a Southern twist, with dishes such as a fried chicken sandwich, shrimp & grits, and jambalaya rice balls. The name is a nod to Jon and Sean’s love of comic books, villains and the hip-hop artist MF Doom, with whom the crew hopes to one day brew a beer (hit them up if you have connections!)
